Thanksgiving Long Weekend
The leaves are changing colour. I love this part of the year except when I’m raking in the leaves. After I finish raking and jump into those piles of leaves, that’s another story.
I haven’t been on a bike in quite a while. But this weekend, I managed to get on one twice. Spent some quality time with family cycling through the neighbourhood. Can’t say I put in a lot of mileage, but it’s something, especially considering I didn’t have time to play badminton this weekend. Quality family time with them is something that we sometimes forget to make time for. Family will always be around. That’s not true. There’s no time like the present to spend with them and the little things like enjoying a movie together, sharing a coffee, going for an outing to the park… these are moments to be treasured. I’m thankful that I have a healthy and happy family. We have arguments because we don’t always have the same views on things (which family doesn’t?!) but at the end of the day, we are family.
My family doesn’t really celebrate Thanksgiving with a turkey (gobble gobble), but happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
