Bump. Volley. Spike. Repeat.
It’s been a while since I committed to organizing anything. I remember my (somewhat distant) high school self, full of energy and vigour, involved in as many extracurricular activities as I could. I’m comfortable participating, but leading a group? I have shied away from that role for a while.
But now I’m stronger than yesterday. Cue music. Anyone? No takers? Okay, fine. I’m a little less rusty than when I first started back in a few months ago. Yay! I’m thoroughly happy with that.
Let’s clear the confusion a bit. I started running a volleyball session over the past few months and I’m finally at a spot where I’m comfortable enough to say that it’s no longer a trial run for me.
Anyway, all I really wanted to say is that it feels great to be organizing something again even though there can be irritating things about planning and coordinating. At the end of the day, when I see a good group coming together and having fun, all of the coordinating and worrying is worth it and puts a big smile on my face. Yay!
