Homemade baked goods
I love me some homemade baked goods. Especially when they’re baked by my best friend or my sister (unless she makes them super sweet). I don’t exactly have a huge sweet tooth.
My sister mentioned baking gluten free blueberry muffins and I started drooling. It reminds me of the ALL BUT GLUTEN blueberry muffins I got at the Gluten Free Expo in 2014. I was surprised because I simply could not tell they were gluten free. I think that’s the goal. To make them taste as good as or better than regular gluten-filled blueberry muffins.
My bestie went to line up (yes she’s crazy) at Uncle Tetsu’s today but since she loves me so much, she decided to share with me (what a sweetheart!). I haven’t tried any of it yet, but it smells pretty good. The cheesecake looked amazingly fluffy so I can’t wait to try that either. Don’t know if I’d personally wait that long for it, but I might try and make my own instead.
With all this bridal and baby shower planning going on, I’ve been thinking about baking more. Might set aside some time next weekend to make a batch of mini Japanese style cheesecakes or cookies. Will see how much time I have left after my most hated activity: spring cleaning!
